The Religeon Of Peace?

Introduction

Islam, What do I think of Islam?
Not a fan
But why am I not a fan of this religeon of peace?
because I have come to understand the true nature of Islam by reading the Quran (all of it)
and reading about the history of Islam and seeing reports on Islamic people today.
I can better understand the mindset of Islamic people.
So from my readings and research i bring these charges against Islam

My Charges Against Islam

Arrogance

Ye are the best of peoples , evolved for mankind

Surah 3 verse 110 of the Quran translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali

So in the mind of Islam Muslims have every reason to think themselves better than us.

Misogynism

When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child),
his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief!
With shame does he hide himself from his people,
because of the bad news he has had! Shall he retain it on (sufferance and) contempt,
or bury it in the dust? Ah! what an evil (choice) they decide on?

Surah 16 verses 58 and 59 of the Quran translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali

So clearly boys are better then girls in Islam

Voilence

Firstly Islam attacked and defeated Medina in 624 A.D
Later Islam attacked Mecca in 630 A.D
Muhammad died in 632 A.D.
I will make the point that these military victories happened during Muhammed's lifetime with Muhammed's full knowledge.

Here is what the Quran says about voilence
And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah.
But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against wrong-doers.

Surah 2 verse 193 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

Warfare is ordained for you, though it is hateful unto you;
but it may happen that ye hate a thing which is good for you,
and it may happen that ye love a thing which is bad for you.
Allah knoweth, ye know not.

Surah 2 verse 216 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other.
Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.

Surah 4 verse 74 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

This is the famous verse in it's propper context
On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person
- unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land -
it would be as if he slew the whole people:
and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.
Then although there came to them Our apostles with clear signs, yet,
even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.
The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger,
and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is:
execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land:
that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;

Surah 5 verse 32 to 33 of the Quran translated by Abdullah Yusufali

This is why Jihadis decapitate their victims
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message):
"I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instil terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers:
smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."

Surah 8 verse 12 of the Quran translated by Abdullah Yusufali

O ye who believe! When ye meet those who disbelieve in battle, turn not your backs to them.
Whoso on that day turneth his back to them, unless manoeuvring for battle or intent to join a company,
he truly hath incurred wrath from Allah, and his habitation will be hell, a hapless journey's end.
Ye (Muslims) slew them not, but Allah slew them.
And thou (Muhammad) threwest not when thou didst throw, but Allah threw,
that He might test the believers by a fair test from Him.
Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.

Surah 8 verse 15 to 17 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

So in the Islamic mind it seems that Allah is credited with all the killing
And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression,
and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere;
but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.

Surah 8 verse 39 of the Quran translated by Abdullah Yusufali

Now hath Allah lightened your burden, for He knoweth that there is weakness in you.
So if there be of you a steadfast hundred they shall overcome two hundred, and if there
be of you a thousand (steadfast) they shall overcome two thousand by permission of Allah.
Allah is with the steadfast.
It is not for any prophet to have captives until he hath made slaughter in the land.
Ye desire the lure of this world and Allah desireth (for you) the Hereafter,
and Allah is Mighty, Wise.

Surah 8 verse 66 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

Then, when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them,
and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.
But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free.
Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

Surah 9 verse 5 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

Fight them!
Allah will chastise them at your hands,
and He will lay them low and give you victory over them,
and He will heal the breasts of folk who are believers.

Surah 9 verse 14 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you,
and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).

Surah 9 verse 123 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

Non believers get the duty of paying an extra tax for the privellage of being non believers.
Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day,
and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger,
and follow not the Religion of Truth,
until they pay the tribute [jizya] readily, being brought low.

Surah 9 verse 14 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall

Say: Flight will not avail you if ye flee from death or killing, and then ye dwell in comfort but a little while.

Surah 33 verse 16 of the Quran translated by Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall
